Black postal worker upset by $10,000 race case award

Toronto Star, by Staff Posted By: Photoonist- Sat, 10 Oct 2009 01:36:23 GMT A black postal worker who complained of being racially discriminated against by Toronto police is unhappy with a $10,000 settlement in his favour. ''I am too disturbed for an interview,'' Ron Phipps said (Snip) The complaint dates to 2005, when Phipps was delivering mail in Toronto's posh Bridle Path neighbourhood while the regular letter carrier was on vacation. Something in his behaviour – including a knock at one door but no mail to be delivered
