Fox News, by Diane Macedo Posted By: KarenJ1- Tue, 30 Nov 2010 23:59:05 GMT Fans of the Gadsden Flag may soon be able to display its familiar rattlesnake and "Don't Tread on Me" message every time they pull out of the driveway. At least three states '' Virginia, Nevada and Texas '' are weighing or have already approved proposals to add "Don't Tread on Me" specialty license plates to their state rosters. The Gadsden Flag, originally used by the U.S. Marine Corps during the American Revolution, was meant to represent the 13 original colonies and their battle for independence from the British monarchy.

Agence France'Presse, by Staff Posted By: loosbolt- Tue, 30 Nov 2010 23:49:30 GMT Shares in Bank of America, the largest US bank, tumbled more than three percent Tuesday amid speculation it will be the next target of leaked documents from WikiLeaks. Shares closed 3.18 percent lower at 10.95 dollars. In an interview published Monday by Forbes magazine, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange claimed a fresh "megaleak" will target a major US bank "early next year." Assange said the bank leak would "give a true and representative insight into how banks behave at the executive level in a way that will stimulate investigations and reforms, I presume."

Fox News, by John Lott Posted By: Desert Fox- Tue, 30 Nov 2010 23:48:00 GMT The media just loves to hate Sarah Palin. And, if polls are to be believed, the constant media bombardment has hurt her standing among many independents. Unfortunately, over the last couple of weeks, even conservative media pundits such as Mona Charen, Peggy Noonan, George Will, Joe Scarborough and Matt Labash see these attacks and warn that she cant win the presidency. They even buy into the attacks on her judgment, intelligence, and competence. But what these conservatives dont appreciate is that Palin is being attacked because she is smart and effective, not because she is dumb.

Associated Press, by SARAH BRUMFIELD Posted By: loosbolt- Tue, 30 Nov 2010 23:47:02 GMT A Virginia toddler was walking out of a shopping mall with relatives when her grandmother suddenly flung her over a railing, sending the girl on a fatal plunge to the pavement several stories below, police said Tuesday. Carmela Dela Rosa, 50, of Fairfax was arrested and charged with murder, said prosecutor Ian Rodway. Authorities said interviews with witnesses and Dela Rosa led them to the conclusion that the girl's fall Monday night was no accident, but they couldn't yet explain why the grandmother threw her. The 2 1/2'year'old child, Angelyn Ogdoc, died in a hospital several hours later.
