Obama will mingle with 50 supporters at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington tonight, where tickets start at $35,800 per person, a campaign official told ABC News. The first two polls released after South Carolina showed Mr. Gingrich with a lead of 8 and 9 points, respectively. But the news has gotten worse for him almost every day, and he trails Mitt Romney by nearly 15 points in the final FiveThirtyEight forecast of the Florida primary.There is a relatively large amount of disagreement in the Florida polls more than in the first three early'voting states.

In southern Yemen, at least 12 al Qaeda militants, including four local leaders, were killed in a drone strike in southern Yemen. It was one of the biggest such strikes believed to have been carried out by the United States in Yemen. (snip)In the drone strike, between 12 and 15 people were killed in the attack on militants travelling in two vehicles, a tribal leader told Reuters.

Komen for the Cure, is halting its partnerships with Planned Parenthood affiliates ' creating a bitter rift, linked to the abortion debate, between two iconic organizations that have assisted millions of women. The change will mean a cutoff of hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants, mainly for breast exams. Planned Parenthood says the move results from Komen bowing to pressure from anti'abortion activists. Komen says the key reason is that Planned Parenthood is under investigation in Congress

Remember these are the same guys who are saying that Mitts the most electable candidate, but if we question Mitts electability well only have ourselves to blame if Mitt doesnt get elected. Or something like that.

The controller recommends borrowing and delaying some payments in order to deal with the shortfall, which he projects will last seven weeks. Absent that kind of action, the state could face sending IOUs and delaying tax returns.

Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his "Ron Paul Rocks America" T'shirt, grab a "Ron Paul 2012" sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.
